When most of us think of Orlando USA, we conjure up images of Space Mountain, Mickey Mouse and Disney World, or Harry Potter and Universal Studios, and other fantastic amusements.
However, did you know that Orlando’s also getting attention for its growing community of startups, entrepreneurs and developers?
I hadn’t either, but when we heard that TADHack Mini was going to Orlando (25-26 March 2017) along with Enterprise Connect (27-30 March 2017), we couldn’t think of a better reason to hop across the globe to check it out!
TADHack Orlando 2017 (Mini Hackathon)
TADS is the largest Communications-focused hackathon series in the world. This year Temasys is proud to be a global sponsor for TADS and our trip to Orlando will be our first appearance at a TADHack outside of Asia. We’re looking forward to meeting developers and companies from around the local ecosystem in Orlando.
Graciously hosted by Catalyst Spaces, TADHack Mini Orlando officially runs from the 25-26 March 2017. There’s also a pre-event meetup on the evening of Friday the 24th of March from 6-8 p.m. for anyone who wants to network, ask questions, and get a feel for what the weekend will bring.
Alan Quayle’s also started a monster post on the TADHack Blog which provides many more details. You can check it out here. We love the fact that TADHack is for EVERYONE. It is a big reason why we signed up as a sponsor for this year’s events.
Next stop: Enterprise Connect 2017
After TADHack, we’ll be taking the tour to Enterprise Connect in Orlando. Turning 27 years old this year, Enterprise Connect will take place at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center. It’s sure to be a busy week at one of the Unified Communications industries’ largest and most important events.
Enterprise Connect is one of those shows that attracts many of the top subject matter experts and decision-makers in the communications technology space. These are the people and companies who build the apps and services that power and, increasingly, transform our businesses. Temasys is especially looking forward to checking out the track Communication APIs, and Next-Gen Messaging and Team Collaboration. Of course, we also want to see the breakout session where the winners of TADHack Orlando 2017 will be showcased!
Most exciting of all, though, will be the chance to share the stage with our friends at Tap To Speak. Together we will showcase how Temasys powers their live audience engagement application. This is another great example of how Temasys empowers developers to embed real-time communications features into any app, on any device, at any scale.
