CEO Bent Rye has been elected Chairman of the Board and Jan Nilsson, Chairman of Kinetic Technologies, was also elected to the Board. Both offer extensive technology leadership and growth oriented experience globally and in the Bay Area.
Silicon Valley-based Rye recently joined Temasys as CEO after almost 20 years with Cisco. There he held leadership positions on local and global market levels, with responsibilities in Europe and at the company’s headquarters in Silicon Valley.
Nilsson brings extensive international corporate growth and marketing insight the board, with 20 years of Silicon Valley start-up, business scaling, growth, and marketing experience. He was a founding member of Analogic Technology’s executive team, which built the company from startup to NASDAQ listing with a $500M+ valuation. Jan then went on to found Kinetic Technologies, which is now in a strong growth phase under his leadership as Chairman.
“Like fellow board member Phil Edholm and I, Jan is deeply entrenched in Silicon Valley. The establishment of an office in Palo Alto, and our relationships here, will broaden Temasys’ efforts with customers, strategic partners and investors, many of whom hail from the Valley and are in the epicenter of technology shifts worldwide,” said Rye.
Tom Preststulen, Temasys co-founder and its largest investor, will continue to serve on the company’s board. Tom has extensive global business experience as an entrepreneur, large business executive and board member across different industries such as shipping, logistics, and technology.
